Dishwasher Powder

Dishwasher Powder

I used to buy dishwasher tablets for my dishwasher. Why? They cost an absolute fortune and after washing, my plates and glassware would often still come out dirty. I eventually got fed up with it. Why am I paying a premium price simply so my dishwasher powder comes in tablet form? Sure, It’s already measured out in convenient singular dosages, it’s wrapped in a dissolvable cover so I don’t even have to unwrap it, and, it takes 2 seconds to get out of the cupboard and put into the dishwasher. What could be easier?

Well this dishwasher powder is not going to be as easy as a dishwasher tablet. Firstly you will need to take the lid off the container and use the scoop or spoon inside to measure out a spoonful of powder and put that in your dishwasher instead. Your nightly routine will possibly increase by about three or four seconds. Can you live with that? If so, this dishwasher powder is perfect for you and the savings will be noticeable immediately.

What you’ll need:

2 cups Borax
2 cups Washing Soda
1 cup salt
1 cup citric acid

Combine the ingredients in an airtight container and shake well to combine.

Usage: One dessert spoon full per load placed in the dispenser.
