Savoury mince is a quick meal you can whip up after work, it’s mince, vegetables and gravy – delicious! When I was a child this used to be a weekly staple in our house and for some reason I never grew tired of it. Perhaps that’s because you can use different vegetables every time you make it which will change the flavour, also it’s so versatile. You can have savoury mince on toast, make savoury mince sandwiches, roast or boil some potatoes and have the mince on top,make a pie out of it or make savoury mince pastries with the leftovers.
You can make a double batch and freeze some for another night. It’s got to be one of the easiest, tastiest dinners around and you can use whatever vegetables you have laying around in your fridge or freezer. If you like your food a bit spicy, feel free to add some chilli and garlic to the mixture as well which makes this dish a great warming meal on a cold night too.
If you have any left over, you could always turn it into meat and vegetable filled pastries.
