If you’ve got floor boards you’ll love it when they are shiny clean. They look fantastic and are a thing of envy. They can be difficult to clean and you need to make sure you’re not using a substance that can eat away at your polish. You don’t want to use too much water or it may damage your floors too.
Don’t be afraid any longer! Here is a simple, cost effective method to clean your hardwood floors.
What you’ll need:
1/2 cup white vinegar
4 litres warm water
2-3 drops essential oil (*optional)
Simply dip a cloth in this mixture and wring it out so its not very wet, then clean away.
*Floors cover a large area of your home, if you use a lot of vinegar around your house it may smell a bit like you’ve spent the day pickling. The vinegar smell won’t last long once it dries but if you want to smell something sweet while you work, please add the essential oil.
