Food-wise, there is nothing I love more in this world than a really good chicken schnitzel. You can buy frozen schnitzels but they are never as good as fresh schnitzels. I know a lot of people avoid making them thinking they are too difficult, but, if you have breadcrumbs and chicken, it’s really quite an easy process. It can get a bit messy but the more you make them, the quicker and cleaner you will become. It’s also a fun job that the kids will enjoy helping with, they’ll love using a mallet to bash the chicken to make the chicken thinner, they’ll love coating it in the flour, eggs and breadcrumbs. Basically, the messier it is, the more the kids will love it. Not only that, I’m yet to meet a child that doesn’t love chicken schnitzel just as much as I do.

These are perfect for making chicken schnitzel burgers and are great with some lemon mayonnaise.
