Month 3 is a great month, we’ve got a fair bit of food leftover from months 1 and 2 including mince and Basa, as well as potatoes, carrots, lentils and spices. This month I’ve spent a lot of our budget on fruit and vegetables (Over 40 kg of fruit and vegetables!). I may regret it next month but for now I’m loving the variety.
This month, it’s the middle of winter and my meal plan reflects that. My family doesn’t really eat salad in winter so there isn’t a lot of salad purchased.
