It’s a sad day when you open your cupboard and there’s no biscuits inside. Luckily this batch of oat biscuits is quick to whip up, its tasty and because it has oats in it you can even pretend its healthy.

Ingredients
- 100 g SR flour
- 75 g rolled oats
- 75 g sugar
- 75 g butter
- 1 tbs golden syrup
- 1 tbs milk
Method
- Preheat oven to 180C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- In a saucepan over medium heat or in a microwave safe bowl, melt the butter with the golden syrup and milk. Stir to combine.
- Add the flour, oats and sugar. Mix well. The mixture will be a bit sloppy but that’s how it is supposed to be.
- Place 12 well spaced, equal sized spoonfuls of mixture on the tray and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden.
- Cool on tray for 5 minutes before transferring the biscuits to a wire rack to cool completely.
