These delicious biscuits are perfect to pop in lunch box and are great with a cup of tea. They are easy to make, the ingredients are all pantry staples and my kids love them.  The best bit is how quick and easy they are. You can have them cooked and ready to eat in 30 minutes. Yum.

Prep: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 115 g butter or margarine
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbs golden syrup
  • 1 cup SR flour

 

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180C, line a cookie sheet or baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Using an electric beater, cream the butter and sugar.
  3. Add in the syrup and beat for a minute.
  4. Mix in the flour.
  5. Roll the mixture into 20 balls and place on your baking tray allowing room for spreading.
  6. Flatten the balls with a fork.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, then cool on a wire rack.
