Cream, cheese and bacon mixed through spaghetti is pure bliss! How can something so delicious be so easy to make and use so few ingredients? There’s not a lot I can say about Carbonara other than I LOVE IT!

Cook: 20 minutes
- 500 g dried spaghetti
- 300 ml thickened cream
- 200 g diced bacon
- 1 onion, diced
- 100 g cheese, grated
- 1 tsp oil
- salt, to taste
- Cook spaghetti according to packet directions.
- While the spaghetti is cooking, heat oil in a frypan over medium heat. Add the onion and bacon and cook for 5 minutes until the onion is soft and the bacon is starting to crisp.
- Add the cream and bring to the boil then reduce the heat and let simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add the cheese and spaghetti to the sauce and mix well to combine.
- Season and serve.
